Data and research drive the work of Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC). Since 1977, PHMC’s Research and Evaluation Group has provided technical assistance and health information to organizations locally and nationally. Organizations rely on PHMC’s Research and Evaluation Group to build capacity, assess client needs, document outcomes, and evaluate programs.
The Research and Evaluation Group at PHMC offers a broad range of services related to health services research, evaluation and assessment. The program areas and population groups we study reflect a broad-based public health interest and perspective. The scope of projects include health status, access to care, HIV/AIDS prevention, maternal and child health, family and youth violence, tobacco use and substance abuse, adolescent health/sexuality, and gerontology.
